Walter Alejandro Gargano Guevara is a football player from Uruguayan and for Serie A club Napoli and the national team of Uruguayan he plays a midfielder. Gargano began to play football when he was three years old and he joined youth club that is not in function now in Paysandú (Centella). He used to play in the midfield position in the youth club. In the youth, Gargano was playing the Danubio club, his future club, there the club noticed him and so he joined the club.
He took his start from the Champions League game played against Manchester City the result was a 1–1 draw. He played all the seven matches, being associated to the club he made improvement in his performance during the winning/knockout phase prior to be removed by Chelsea. Gargano was the part of the group when he prepared setting up a goal for Edinson Cavani, luckily he achieved a hat-trick, in a 3–1 victory defending champ AC Milan. It was December 21st and the year when he got his first goal achieved in a 6–1 victory versus Genoa, and with this his drought of goal that remained for four years finally ended. After three months on March 9th 2012, he managed to achieve one more of that season in a 6–3 win over Cagliari. Ultimately when the season ended, Napoli won the final of Coppa Italia in a 2–0 win over Juventus, in which Gargano could not participate for he was suspended at that time as picked up another yellow card in the semi final of Coppa Italia played versus Siena.
Angel Di Maria
The home town of Angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi is same i.e. in Rosario, Argentina.
In the past he was dominated by the likes of Messi, Falcao and Ronaldo. Till the year 2013, his name was not among the 23 best players challenging for FIFA World Player of the Year whereas not many players such as Hazard, Pirlo and Cavani were included in the nominees list. The reason for missing him was that the basis of this award was not about merit but it was personality related.
Still now we are trying to compare him to the top class players. The main difference is his high creativity then comes the ability of passing is more, versatility is more and last but not the least he has more pace as compared to any other.
When it comes to his creativity, in the season of year 2013-14 he had 22 assists (much more as compared to Messi or Ronaldo) and in La Liga he was among the leading assist makers. While playing as a central midfielder he made 90 chances though he serves as a winger usually. Recently in the friendly matches played versus the world champions Germany, he separated their cover/defense from the wide positions in order to score a goal and to prepare the ground for three more goals.
As compared to Messi and Ronaldo his creativity and versatility is higher. Due to this reason he is known as the “stamina beast” as he can play in positions that are not so good but often to get back over in order to assist the cover (not like Messi and Ronaldo). He plays as a midfielder either on the left or right flanks, serves as an attacking central midfielder, a supporting striker and a playmaker.
Due to his talent of passing his position is different as compared to rest of the players. The best thing about him is his accurate passing.
His speed is high and he has command on pace over long distance. Do you remember his 90 yard run in 2014 in order to prepare Ronaldo facing Fiorentina while in the Final Champions League his criss cross or zig-zag dribble past three players, which resulted in giving a chance to Gareth Bale to win the trophy for Real Madrid. Only with his solo run the whole scene of the game suddenly changed and he became the man of the match. Even the pundits began to take interest in him.
His victory resumed in the 2014 World Cup and in the 16th round of the game he could score his one and only goal of against Switzerland. Throughout the tournament his shots on goal were higher as compared Messi and even though he played for about 300 less minutes he got only one less solo dash/run into the penalty space as compared to Messi who earned the Golden Ball for being the best player. Sadly, he could not play the final game versus Germany due to the injury.
When the World Cup was over demanded his club Real Madrid to pay him like their best/top class players but unfortunately they did not accept his demand later he was sold for about $100 million to Manchester United and this transfer is the fifth most costly transfer ever also the maximum fee that a British club paid.
Subsequent to a slow beginning to the fresh season by Manchester United Di Maria scored the first goal while playing his first game facing Queens Park Rangers and this resulted in first victory for the Manchester United under the supervision of their new coach Louis Van Gasal.
When the Argentine joined to the team Manchester United they got their ways of winning back and obviously they were ready to paying a lot for him.
After giving victory when the last season was about to finish, the way he performed in the World Cup as well as they way he give a boost to the fresh season for country and club it won’t be easy for FIFA not to include Di Maria from ‘Player of the Year’ in the year 2014.
