Adam began posting on social media as a way to connect with people after the pandemic. Followers liked his presence in sermons and homilies. Yet, he posted other videos as well while he joked, danced, and sang. The unique mix of humor and faith Adam presented resonated with millions. Shortly after, his online following exploded. Principally, it wasn’t the message itself that made Adam famous, but it was how he delivered it.

In 2023, Adam quickly rose to fame with one of his sermons getting over two million views, making him more famous overnight. His most dominant fan base is probably in Latin America. In Spanish (which he speaks fluently), he’s known as “pícaro padre” (the mischievous priest). With his charismatic personality and sense of humor, Adam amassed a huge following. Now, he has 1.7 million followers on TikTok.

Sadly, but not too surprisingly, not everyone liked Adam’s content and the way he delivered it. Many of his fellow bishops and priests accused him of being insolent, disrespectful, and dissenting. Such an attack led the Diocese of Santa Rosa to ban him from posting content on social media. In 2020, Adam decided to leave the Roman Catholic Church and join the Polish National Catholic Church. At the time, this move raised quite a few eyebrows.

Yet, Adam got what he wanted, as the Polish National Catholic Church gave him the freedom he wanted in his ministry. Despite that, Adam still insists that he’s a Catholic and respects both the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope.
