Sotiris Ninis
Manchester United are said to have stepped up the chase for young Panathinaikos sensation Sotiris Ninis .
But the Reds will have to battle Barcelona for the 20-year-old playmaker, and according to Spanish sources, the Nou Camp is his preferred destination.
AC Milan and Real Madrid are also chasing Ninis, but Manchester United have reportedly already opened talks with Panathinaikos Athens over an £8-million deal.
Ninis, the youngest ever player to appear for Panathinaikos and now captain of the Greek giants, played 36 games last season, scoring four goals and providing five assists. He has also played seven matches for the Greek national team.
Ninis is fast and a good dribbler. Although he prefers the playmaker role, he can also be utilized in the right side of midfield.
